You can also educate the individual on s/s of hyper or hypotension and what to report, etc. Then, you will need to determine and state how you will assess the effectiveness of the teaching provided. It is useful to incorporate different methods of instruction (demonstration, verbal presentation, pamphlet) and evaluation (self-evaluation, knowledge quiz, survey) into your teaching plan.
