I want you to provide constructive edits/critiques to two of your classmates’ “Synthesis Essays,” using the following steps:
1. Look for the “Peer Review” tab in the center of your Canvas Home page for this course. It will also likely be on your “To do” list.
2. Download the essay you have been assigned to edit..
3. Enable the track changes function in Microsoft Word. Here’s a brief tutorial:

4. Make your suggested edits. Be thorough and thoughtful. Remember that your author does not have to accept your critiques, but as a rule, you should provide as much CONSTRUCTIVE feedback as you can. For a list of questions/prompts to help you make thorough edits, please see the following document: PeerEvaluationAssignment.doc. (***note that this document is a guide for your edits; your response will ultimately be guided by the questions below.)
5. Save the edited document in the following file name format: “[author’s last name]_edited by__[your last name] 6. Upload the edited document to the author’s draft folder (where you originally downloaded the essay from). You can attach the file in the “comments” section of the draft folder. Also, submit copies of your edited essays to this submission folder.
7. Cut and paste the questions listed below (highlighted in red) into a new document. Answer the questions and then submit that document in the comments section in the same way you submitted your edits. Be sure to put a header on this document (with your name, the class, assignment info, etc) so that I can give you credit.
