The purpose of the class paper is to show a cognitive progressive understanding of the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, risk factors, assessment findings, acute management, and long term treatment of a disease. This is a research paper and as such should utilize peer reviewed articles from medical journals, text books, academic publications etc. The final paper will be in APA (American Psychological Association) Format 12pt font double spaced with standard margins. Included will be a works cited and a title page that do not count to the total length. The end document should be at least 750 words in length (excluding title and works cited pages).
