Application: Factors That Influence Project Delivery Systems
Since as early as there has been construction, each construction project has employed a type of project delivery system. This week, you have considered the evolution of project delivery systems from an historical perspective. You have discussed the master builder concept, one of the many factors that have led to the continued evolution of PDSs, as they are now referred to today.
For this week’s Application, you will now take a closer look at the factors that impact project delivery systems. These include:
Stakeholder relationships
Governmental types
Social freedom
Mobility
Climate
Basic needs (i.e. shelter and food supply).
Select two factors from the list above and describe in detail how these factors have shaped the development of project delivery systems and will continue to do so in the future.
Utilize this week’s Learning Resources and at least two additional outside resources to support each of your assertions. Your paper should be between 600–900 words in length.
